iTunes Review

The short-lived "groove collective" Pacha Massive got its musical punch from Nova—an inventive writer, producer, and keyboardist—and its dazzle from Colombian singer Maya. Her vocals light up "Don't Let Go," a sultry bit of Brazilian-styled pop. The title track weds its hooks to vibrato guitar and dubwise rhythms, while "Al Ritmo de Pacha" sports Santana-like guitar and sampled, Motown-style strings. On "Your Love," Maya's deep moans and Nova's swirling synths—along with some sly lyrical innuendo—make for one erotic-sounding track.
