One of the most underrated voices of the late 70's. A true revelation at such a young age when this album was released. I wish her subsequent years would have had more success.

COME TO ME! Astounding! HARD CORE DISCO/Pop Gold

France Joli gave it her all -- and it still holds up as one of the strongest HARD CORE DISCO songs ever. I loved it and still do. Right up there with Thelma Houston's "Don't Leave Me This Way." France's Heart to Break the Heart is amazing. It's the "sequel" to this song. Same structure, same haunting vocals (male & female).
*** Also check out Come to Me from the soundtrack "ANY DAY NOW." Same song as a ballad with a fantastic chill vocal by Alan Cumming. Haunting.
