AVOID! NOT ORIGINAL RECORDINGS! BEWARE OF REMAKES!
These are not the hit versions you know and love; these are remakes from the 1970's and 80's. These cuts have none of the energy of the originals, and the singers, while the original artists, are much older and not in nearly as good form vocally. Stay away from anything K-Tel.
DO NOT BUY
If you like crappy remakes of great songs, then go ahead, buy this album. If you are a REAL 60's fan, like me, keep away!
I listened to the little snippets of each tune and they are not original recordings. They may be original artists, but over the years, someone always thinks revamping the music will make it sell. Sorry, out of all of the music I have (over 5,000 recordings), usually less than 2% equal or sound better than the original. Glenn Miller-In the (Digital) Mood is one of the few exceptions. If you think these recording sound great, then you have never heard the heart and soul of the original recordings! iTunes needs to stop buying CR*P or we will stop buying iTunes!!!
