Album Review

Following 2009's The Real Feel, former Pavement member, Scott Kannberg (aka Spiral Stairs), returns with his second full-length album, Doris & the Daggers. With the album set to be recorded in 2015, Kannberg put the sessions on hold when drummer Darius Minwalla, passed away. The resulting album took a different direction after the news, with Kannberg spending time with singer/songwriter Kelley Stoltz. Recorded in Eagle Rock, California, the album sees guest spots from the likes of Broken Social Scene's Kevin Drew and the National's Matt Berninger.
