As Doug Benson announces at the start, this set at Seattle’s Neptune Theatre marked his first TV-special taping—and all the swinging cameras have the proud pothead a little freaked out. “I think I’m just too high to have a thing flying around the room while I’m telling jokes,” he admits. But despite the stressful circumstances, Benson delivers his delightfully scatterbrained musings—touching on everything from familiar stand-up themes like air travel to the dancing guy in The Mighty Mighty Bosstones—as if he’s chilling in a dorm-room beanbag.
