Ludacris-Down In Tha Dirty

With southern fried country cooked beat, that features a country like banjo, synths to assist, and a booming bass, Luda brings southern stars Rick Ross and Bun B. Ross has a decent verse, nothing special, however Luda definitely knocks his verse out, and Bun B continues to rep the south strong with a solid verse. A street anthem to rep for the south, it isn't great, but a good single with a chopped in screwed hook that repeats. Solid single off the Disturbing Tha Peace compilation Strength In Numbers due to come out December 4th. Tracklist: Celebrity Chick (Ludacris, Chingy, Steph Jones, and Small World (of Norfclk)) Hot Tamales (Small World, Chingy and Serius Jones) Jealous Of Me (Small World, Shawn Jay (of Field Mob) and Tity Boi (of Playaz Circle)) Don't Check Me (Ludacris, Playaz Circle and I-20) Windy City (Block Xchange, Shawnna and Ludacris) The Game (Shareefa, Serius Jones, Chingy and Small World) DTP (Willy Northpole & I-20) Speakers In The Trunk (Brolic D (of Norfclk) and Tity Boi) Let's Go Remix (Bobby Valentino feat. Lil Fate) Duffle Bag Boy (Playaz Circle feat. Lil Wayne) Live On Stage (DTP Family) Act Like Us (Playaz Circle, Serius Jones and Willy Northpole) We Ain't Worried Bout U Remix (Ludacris, Serius Jones & Lil Fate) Watch Out (DTP Coming) (Ludacris, I-20, Chingy & Shawn Jay) Down In Tha Dirty (Ludacris feat. Rick Ross & Bun B)

Luda!

Ludacris is one of the greatest rappers alive, and this song, though you might not love it at first, is now exception to his greatness. Down In tha Dirty is of course about the south, with guest appearances from Rick Ross and Bun B. Luda starts off the song with an incredible verse, flowing over the beat perfectly. Ross drops (surprisingly) a very good verse, in which he sounds a lot like he used to when he was making songs like "Hustlin" and "Push It," going back to his old voice that wasn't incredibly deep. Bun B... well, he's Bun B, you know what you'll get from him: perfection. Bun's verse is great, and he really completes this song. Though this song may not jump out at you at first, and you may not thing the beat is great, take a few listens. There's something magic here.

When the Dirty South movement broke nationwide at the turn of the century, Ludacris rode it to immediate widespread popularity, becoming arguably the most commercially successful Southern rapper of the time. In 2000 the Atlanta-based rapper signed to Def Jam's newly established Southern rap subsidiary, Def Jam South, and became the label's flagship Dirty South artist. Def Jam repackaged his underground album Incognegro (2000) as Back for the First Time (2000) and issued "What's Your Fantasy?" as...
