Slow start, strong finish
The song takes perhaps a bit too long to find itself, but once it hits it's groove, it's a rewarding listen. It has quite a celebrational feel to it, more jovial than most of Peter Gabriel's works of late. Pete should be commended for always having a polished produced sound that walks the fine line of still having good dynamics but still works even on a lo-fi boombox. Eagerly anticipating Big Blue Ball.
Can Gabriel write a bad song?
I certainly prefer Peter Gabriel's darker stuff, but this is just too catchy. After two listens, the chorus is stuck in my head.
this song is so "Down to Earth" LOL ,I love it!
