Customer Reviews

Don't listen to "raginboston".

I don't know what "raginboston" was thinking when they wrote that review because in my opinion this is Armin's best album. Armin even said in an interview that he didn't set out to make just another album he said that he wanted to have fun with this one. From the melodic sounds of the title track "Mirage" and "Virtual Friend" to the club fillers like "Orbion" and "Minack" Armin hit this one out of the park. I respect "raginboston's" opinion but I strongly suggest that you listen to it on your own and make your decision. I am positive that you will love it! d(-_-)b

Going downhill

Seems many of our favorite trance DJ's have evolved into much more mainstream music, leaving behind the energy and inspiration of club trance. I've been a fan of Armin since about 2000, and this album is by far the most disappointing. Where Armin used to attack the listener with big breaks and strong rhythms, this album is little more than passive pop, soft vocals and light beats. No layering, no mixing, just soft pop. Listening to it a first and then a second time, I got sleepy and couldn't figure any of it translating to the club. Still a big fan of Armin, but he jumped the shark on this one.

armin knows..

this album does not top the greatness of imagine. but its armin van buuren :)
minack has got to be the dopest track in this album. ferry and armin created a club banger.
great tune
