Album Review

Like its predecessor, Greatest Science Fiction Hits, Vol. 2 is a collection of 15 familiar sci-fi themes from movies and TV, as arranged and performed by Neil Norman. While serious fans of the films will prefer the original soundtracks, these versions are pretty good and quite entertaining. Among the highlights on the disc are themes from "The Empire Strikes Back," "Twilight Zone," "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century," "Doctor Who," "Star Trek — The Motion Picture," "Adventures of Superman," "Dark Star" and selections from "Star Wars."

Don't bother - It's BAD

I bought the first two volumes on CD along time ago off of a bargain rack and was severely disappointed. Most of the tracks are TERRIBLE adaptions on some electro synthetic thingy. Search farther and find the originals or at least a decent version from the Boston or Cincinnation Pops orchestras!!!!

Why do you bother making remakes of classics like "Star Wars" or "Star Trek," when you're just making them sound like gameboy tunes? I'm sorry, but I don't think this is very good.

If I could have just one wish...

I would find whoever re-created these, my favorite childhood theme songs and balads, and punch them in the throat. With my fist.
