I'm a very big Alice Cooper fan. I am not someone who only likes his huge albums such as "Billion Dollar Babies" and "Welcome to My Nightmare". I bought this album with an open mind, but as of now it ranks as my least favorite Cooper album.

Don't get me wrong, I don't necessarily think this is "bad" music, its just not up my alley or what I expected. Alice is one of my favorite musicians of all time and one reason he holds that title is because of how different and versatile his CDs have been throughout his long career. Dragontown (and Brutal Plnet from what I've heard) follows this trend with its sound being very industrial. Even though in the past I've enjoyed Alice's foray into different sounds, this did not cut it for me. I've attempted to give this album a few listens but I just can't enjoy it like I do other Cooper albums.

At the end of the day I just don't think this genre of music suits Alice. He is still undoubtedly one of the best out there and I commend him on his efforts, but no matter how much I try; I just can't love this CD. Maybe others think differently.
