Stellar release from this new band

From the first listen of the opening song "Fallen Asleep", I knew that I was about to be sucked into something unique and magical. Those first few riffs provided by Andrew Dwiggins guitar followed by the smooth sounds of Ryan Jordan's voice grab your ears and let you know that you are in for an intense ride. Next we hear "After You". The bassline in this song, provided by the ultra talented Brandon Armstrong, is just ridiculous. The lyrics mix seamlessly with the guitar and before you know it, you are singing along. "Drifting Days" shows the sexy side of this band, just fantastic. "Runaway" is the only real ballad on the album, but it packs a punch and definitely leaves you wanting more. "So In Love" just has single written all over it, enough said. "All Right" brings out the sultry side of both the vocals and lyrics really showing what GVG is capable of. "Change" closes out the album and really gives you a feel for what drummer Drew Bailey is really all about. Honestly, this is one of the best albums I have heard this year. I really expect to see these guys creating some buzz with this one. Keep your eyes and ears out.

Great sound

I saw this band play live last night in Chicago.. and I fell in love with them. Great album, great sound. I can't get 'All Right' out of my head. I predict big things for these guys. They have the talent and charisma to go far. But it now so you can say you knew them back when! ;)

Go Van Gogh is great, but that's a given. They are a four-piece that actually originated as Soma Holiday, until the name was changed to Greenwheel. Their newest project, Go Van Gogh, shows a lot of musical growth. I saw them live as Greenwheel and they played some of these songs, and I've been a fan ever since.

Through their experimentation of improve jazz, Middle Eastern Folk and funk, the San Francisco quartet of Go Van Gogh have been critically labeled as "gypsies on acid." Through their use of two saxophones and a violinist, an added tradition of classical folk attributed to the bands sound as they eventually signed a deal...
