What a WONDEFUL surprise!

Okay, Don Henry is a super-talent, that goes without saying. He is also an extemely gifted studio musician and producer - that's a given. But if you thought you knew what an established Nashville songwriter's album would be all about, you are in for a BIG surprise. This is a delightful project, the production is extremely musical, the vocals are energetic and exacting -- and let me tell you, it hard to sing with one's tongue pressed as tightly against one's cheek as Don did here. Not comparing or holding that out as a yardstick - but there's evidence here that Don Henry has heard it once or twice.
