This is a very interesting album.

Kim Cascone is known for his computer programming (max/msp) and absolutely not using outboard gear/equipment. You may feel there's not enough human element. But if you understand programming you know there's lots of work involved and the language doesnt write itself. There is a theory to his madness so to speak. Stop and listen to the patches he's built, you'll be quite amazed.

A New York student of electronic music influenced by experimentalists John Cage and Terry Riley, Kim Cascone later moved to San Francisco and founded the Silent label.
