Best chill-out cd since early Buddha Bar & Cafe del Mar

Faves are Mrs Major Tom (great story), Broken (great sonics) and Sweetness Likes the Reverb (great voice & vibe.) It's a Best-Of but it works brilliantly as a whole album. My fave Shinjuku Zulu tracks from the last cd were the downtempo ones (Scarborough Fair, Rainbowbeau, Coal Coal Black), so it's fantastic to now have a whole chillout cd. (btw, good to know K.I.A. and Shinjuku Zulu are the same artist!)

I got Portishead, Burial, and this one all at the same time and only K.I.A & SZ's "DXLR8" get's chillout gold. It's the ultimate unclub record. It's like audio opium, put ya straight inta theta state, yeah. Top five tracks: Yedayed, Allelujah, Mrs Major Tom, Sweetness Likes the Reverb and Rainbowbeau. Mysterious, mystical, sad, ecstatic, expansive, in that order. For that four a.m. feeling at any time of day. (FYI check out also "Howdydaomaori" by K.I.A. and "Unlullaby" by Shinjuku Zulu, two more downtempo tracks on their other albums.)
