One of the best reggae albums ever

From beginning to end, this album is one of the greatest ever recorded. The masterful blending of horns, reggae beats, and the soulful lyrics that speak with a true message make this album something truly special.

Saw these cat's live in San Fran and was blown away. The lead singer is this vibrating rastafarian light in the form of a 5'5" white dude with some ill vocal and guitar skills. I rarely buy albums at concerts but I snatched this one on the spot. Last I checked, I've played it 20-30 times in 3 months. Light is love and love is Light! Jah Lives.

Back to the roots

Unfortunately, I've found that the majority of the "new" artists seem to have forgotten what it is about Reggae that makes it great. By chance I recently discovered the music of Groundation. This album is as soulful as it gets with the added bonus of superb musician-ship, intricate arrangements, and stories that matter. If your are a fan of the roots style, this will become one of your favorites.
