Awesome album!!!

This album is great from start to finish and has influences in downtempo and reggae resulting in a smooth, unique sound. Each melody flows into the next seamlessly. I love all of the songs with vocals, especially The Cost and Live Up, but the instrumental songs are equally good. Midnight of the Loon might be the most beautiful song I've ever heard. Echoes from the Soul clearly demonstrates Alific's progression from a live bass player in the reggae band Stick Figure to a talented music producer.

Chill Reggae and Downtempo Beats with guest vocals

Echoes From The Sould- brings in guest vocals and instrumentation with purposeful songwriting; which allows the album to feel smooth throughout all 14 songs. On first listen the record has care like a thought out mixtape a'la Stick Figure meets Nightmares On Wax with a little Thievery Corporation in the mix. Smart production + Deep bass & Beats that would have made Nujabes proud.

Echoes From The Soul

Brendan Dane at it again under the persona of Alific. Some of his best work to date. You can easily tell his influences of music in every genre he almost hits with this downlow reggae tempos to his gospel to his electronic music to his love of hip hop and R&B music. Live bassist to producing his own sound. Same vibe you get from Dub In The District. Defiantly the sound track to the end of my summer. I said that to DITD as well and it was for last time Alific dropped an album.
