I miss the glory days...

Why can't Darren Emerson, Rick Smith and Karl Hyde get together and make another solid Underworld album? I've always liked Karl's vocals back then but this album seems way too dreary.

Brilliant

I've been a fan of Underworld and their related projects since the eighties. I've also enjoyed how Karl's lyric writing has evolved over the years.

With Edgeland, each song is an intricate painting or photograph, and Karl is the narrator of the story behind it. But the best part is - Through his "not set in stone" words, the painting becomes your own creation. Unique and individualized for each listener.

This album is not "Born Slippy" for those of you that are looking for the next club anthem. It goes far beyond that in a way that few artists can. It's well crafted and simplistically complex.

Thank you Mr Hyde for making the effort and taking the time to craft this album.

Fantastic! Typo Bugs Me

I'm a huge Underworld fan, so finding this album was quite a joy. Hyde's voice is so soothing. This is a bit of a departure for him in that this album is by no means "danceable"; but it showcases how talented this man is.

Apple the name of the track is The Night Slips us Smiling Underneath ITS Dress. Amazon has it wrong too, so maybe it's an error of Hyde's marketing team.

An early edition of Underworld was formed in 1987, but it would be 1991, when DJ Darren Emerson joined the group...
