Don't let the title fool you ...

If you want to listen to an album with a wide range of cajun music, this is the album for you. You'll think you are down on Bourbon Street swiggin' a hurricane. Most of these songs move along at a brisk clip. Though I don't speak French, the French songs seem to flow just a little smoother. If I had one criticism, it is that the production values could be just a tad better. Other than that one criticism, this is one of the better zydeco albums. If you want just one, this would be a good choice. As an aside, Nathan and the Zydeco ChaCha's do an excellent cover of Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely". I first heard it on a cajun radio station in South Louisiana and it took me a few years to figure out which artist had covered the song.

Real zydeco
