iTunes Editors’ Notes

Best known for his work with hyper-experimental hip-hop crew Antipop Consortium, New York MC Beans rocks a bugged-out style based mostly on a high-speed delivery and extremely dense rhyme schemes, generally backed by freaky production loaded with bizarre time signatures, spastic sound effects, and beats that are either extremely bare-bones or overwhelmingly complex. Unsurprisingly, he remains completely unknown by the masses, but is embraced by fans of fringe music and adventurous listeners worldwide. Despite no chance of commercial airplay, he has a huge discography and has performed at large festivals around the globe, proving that there is something inherently appealing about his unapologetically bewildering sound. On End It All, released by the free-thinking, envelope-pushing Anticon label, he continues his bizarre ride, with 13 tracks that all live up to his unpredictable reputation. Check out the ominous "Electric Bitch," futuristic epic "Forever Living Fresh," and minimalist jam "Deathsweater."

Smooth explosion!

Great Album! Beans' lyrics and beats are smooth and constant, with explosive moments that captures the mind and makes you think. I was able to see him live last night 2/17/11 and it was powerful! Keep moving the crowd!

HOW did this guy get a record deal?

I'm no huge fan of rap or hip hop, I'll admit that right now. This sounds like someone with musical talent let some guy with zero vocal talent rap over his beats. And the guy rapping had been doing it for about a month. And he was very nervous, or hadn't really warmed up yet. In short, this is pretty awful.
