like classical touches? you'll love this one

The epic symphonic sound takes up most of this album. I could do without the choir on some, but the orchestra backing is always great.
My one annoyance is iTunes decided to not hone the $7.99 advance order price. I pre-ordered, only to find the price was jacked up $2 … So, I canceled my order and bought from a competitor, who did have the $7.99 price

symphony of destruction

I use to like this band but all the orchestra and symphonic elements that they are putting into their songs just make them sound like they can't compose anything interesting with just the use of their regular instruments. It's not even that I will claim to be a black metal purist, but seriously I don't see how anyone can dig this music and say that they like black metal. Just judging by the samples offered, this band isn't much heavier than Nightwish and is in my opinion who Dimmu Borgir most sounds like. I'd recommend Ondskapt, Shining, Watain and Marduk over this any day.

So different but so Great!

At first listen i didnt no if i liked it or not. But after listening A LOT more i can say I love it! Dimmu has done it again, and this album shows there musical geniouse.

Although some groups like Emperor and Mayhem had already been making noise for...
