Customer Reviews

I like this album because despite the title, this is a very elctronic oriented album. I must say my favorite song is Currents. If you play videogames and you played Mass Effect, I think this music would really be a great companion. I feel it has a hint of retro sounds, late seventies, early eighties sci fi fascination. Yet it si so current. I just love closing my eyes and listening to the sounds.

As Close To Berlin School As Craig Padilla Gets

Craig Padilla is a highly versatile artist. rarely putting out the same style consecutively. Sometimes he gravitates to the 'new age' end of things, sometimes he opts for deep space music ala, Jonn Serrie. However, If like me, you prefer the more rhythmic sequencer-based styles, I will enlighten you which CD's to buy in that vein. Obviously, "Below The Mountain", also "Genesis", "Analog Destination" with Skip Murphy , and "Echo System" with Paul Ellis. Other artists to explore: Ian Boddy, Redshift, ARC, Gert Emmens, Ron Boots, Rene Van Der Wouden, also check out Radio Massacre International's "Emissaries" and Steve Roach's "Skeleton Key". Dont forget Paul Ellis. What would you do without me?
