EDITORS’ NOTES

Once you've heard it, it's hard to forget Ed Robertson’s rapid-fire raps set to jangly guitar riffs on “One Week,” where he touches on everything from sushi to Aquaman to watching The X-Files. Every other chart-topper from Barenaked Ladies’ fertile early era of folky rock is here, too. “If I Had $1,000,000” might be a whimsical, kicked-back country ditty, but its melody is as addictive as any Top 40 track. And “Brian Wilson,” with its breezy sway, remains a crowd-pleasing, sing-along favorite.

Love this band

I’m an old guy and my daughter turned me on to these guys in the late 90’s and I’ve loved them ever since. There is no song of theirs I don’t like and I’ve heard them all. Their lyrics are clever, smart and often funny.
