Rappa Ternt Sanga was a pleasant, catchy introduction to T-Pain’s unusual talent, but his personality really blossomed on his sophomore offering, Epiphany. “Buy U a Drank” is an ingenious mixture of persuasive synths and doo-wop crooning, while “Bartender” is nimble storytelling set to a beat that seems to glide on glass. It’s refreshing to have an R&B singer who doesn’t take himself too seriously. T-Pain could waste a lot of time playing the irresistible gigolo, but instead he wisely endears himself to his listener with the preposterous come-ons of “Yo Stomach” and “69.” And regardless of how you respond to the way T-Pain addresses AIDS on “Suicide,” you have to respect the man for being bold with his ideas. T-Pain provides more than enough pop sugar to attract the masses, but at the same time he has developed a style that differentiates him from anything else in the pop music landscape. llector’s Edition includes a 12-inch remix of “Bizarre Love Triangle,” a Shep Pettibone remix of “True Faith” and the 1988 version of the classic single “Blue Monday.”
Overall Rating: Epiphany
Re-Born from freaking with strippers he comes back buying them drinks. Not much of a difference, but he does make it work. Alot of people say that his voice is "annoying", and sometimes I agree but he made it work beautifully! 1. **** - VG Lyrics - VG Beat - Here, T-Pain tries to rap his way through his struggles. Personally I prefer when he sings but the song is about struggles in tallahassee. It's a bit unlike T-pain and not really a highlight and not a reccomendation there fore. More like an extremely well done intro :). 2. **** - G Lyrics - VG Beat - Oh My God. Okay, where do i start off. Way too fast of rapping. What are they saying. Teddy Versetti speaks way to fast and T-Pain sings a bit too quickly. It's his third single so watch out. Recommended, even though it's low-ish rating. 3. **** - G Lyrics - G Beat - This song is sorta hanging on the edge. It sounds unlike J-Kwon yet it's probably another sex song if you think about it. Has a link to Buy U A Drank but not reccomended. 4. **** - VG Beat - VG Lyrics - Original twist to it but i feel like i've heard the lyrics before at least twice. This song is like "I Got This, I Got That, Sex Tonight?" type thing. I think it's a decent song so if you want something it would be this. 5. *** - G Skit - A phone conversation going between some girl and tizzle pain. Umm...if you like skits its probably not reccomended anyways because here its 1.00 for a phone convo. 6. *** - VG Beat - NG Lyrics - OK, Wow, Is This T-Pain. I quote "They Say I Have To Find Out The Hard Way, so I Guess It's". Umm, No Thanks. No, it's not reccomended. 7. ***** - E Beat - E Lyrics - Wow, this song is acutally quite original. He meets a girl, says hi, girl like boy, boy like girl. Linked, he says hes somewhere to see if she'll go with him. Really cool beat and he makes his voice work very well. Recommended like nothin' else. 8. **** - VG Beat - G Lyrics - A little on the deep side. Backseet action refers to sex. It features shawnna ( The one that sang Gettin' Some *head* ). Umm, the beat is awesome, nice and low. Not a week track but if you like tracks about sex you should like this one, therefore un-reccomended. 9. *** - G Beat - G Lyrics - Okay, well one things for sure. The beats a bit too slow, and the rappings too fast on the base line. Anyways, this song is kinda about girls and stuff (seeing a pattern developing here). And well, not reccomended. 10. *** - G Beat - OK Lyrics - This song also kinda threw me off lyrically-wise so umm...no? Umm...Yeah well i think it's unreccomeneded. Truly, title says all. "I wish i could go threw a time machine" blah blah blah. 11. ***** - E Beat - VG Lyrics - Woah, OK this should be the fourth single. Personally i love the vocals and the slowish woozy beat. But other than that an overall great song and is the bomb. 12. ***** - E Beat - G Lyrics - Ok...Well Umm, where do i start. This Song Is Awesome. Top 10 on iTunes for quite some time now. Number 1 on billboard hot R&B tracks for quite some time now. Lyrics are sampled from songs like... - Zoom (Lil Boosie) "We on Them Dubs like Zoom Zoom Zoom Zoom...etc." ties to end of chorus - Money In The Bank "I Got Money In The Bank, Shorty What You Thank" stated in chorus - Snap Yo Fingers "Snap Yo Fingers, Do Ya Step, You Can Do It All By Yo Self" stated at intro - Walk It Out "Let's Get Drunk, Walk It Out" is stated in the chorus. Overall Amazing but i think he could of patched those filler lyrics up. Rushed but well done. Yung Joc's voice is perfect for the beat. Amazing song, and good choice for first single. Reccomended. 13. ***** - E Beat – G Lyrics – Umm… Ok, starting off with hot production. Dang, and the singing is good but the lyrics are spoofed. I’m downloadin’ this one. Reccomended for all of ya’s. 14. **** - VG Skit – Funny, there all like “**** T-PAIN!” Lol, this song is funny. I don‘t think any girls would be like that. Anyways, back to the point. Not recommended just because it’s a skit. 15. **** - G Beat – VG Lyrics – Am I Allowed to say that callabo rocked. OK, nice reggae twist and that whole thing was awesome. Cham did well of making it reggae ton but what’s with the “rwa! rwa!” Umm, if you want something different from the rest of the album this is the song. 16. ***** - E Beat – E Lyrics – I think this is his first very serious love song. “I Put My Right Hand on My Heart!” This song is very deep and it has good singing from T-Pain in it. Very well done, T-Pain you scored my download Recommended. 17. **** - VG Beat – VG Lyrics – This song is a good song and does not sound bad, this song actually sounds good. I like the snare in chorus; it gives it a pop-rock twist. Probably recommended, but I don’t know. The rest are bonus tracks, and I will let you decide on your own. I think he has just earned my click on the buy-album button. This is very good, and not fully about sex. It has some nice songs and has worked very hard on this. Give him some credit and buy the recommendations (half the price of the album). 1. Bartender 2. Buy U A Drank 3. Right Hand 4. Yo Stomach 5. 69 Wow, Ok, Congrats T-pain for avoiding the sophomore slump :)

T-Pain, Better Than Your First CD!!
I really like this CD. It's really good and I just bought it and I like all the songs on it!! We all know Buy U a Drank (Shawty Snappin') is his BEST song on his album, but I think Bartender is going to be his next big hit! These songs here I strongly recommend: Tipsy, Backseat Action, Time Machine, 69, and Shottas! If you like the way he sings and composes his songs, then you should buy this CD or just a couple!!!
