Great new music!

I picked up the CD version of this album on CD Baby and it comes with digital stems for us DJs. Great sound and production on this album. Can't wait to remix a few of the tracks!

High Energy, Strong Beats, and Sonically Tasty!

Erik's CD rocks with a very dynamic energy and a well thought out soundscape, laced with sonic effects, driving rhythms, and excellent performances. What Erik does well is to take an ever evolving genre like electronica and push the envelope even more with his superb beats and creative mixing. It comes as no surprise that his professional sounding productions are finding their way into some important TV and movie placements.

One of the many things I like is how Erik adds plenty of the human factor with his guitar playing and with the help of his guests who sing and play as well. Take, for example, the organic feel of Christine Wu's violin on "Carmen Dancing", or Lygia Ferra's earthy and dark vocal delivery interspersed with Craig Seganti's tasty trumpet licks on "Hope & Desire". And Gilli Moon's mesmerizing vocal's are always a pleasure, especially as found on "Delicious People" juxtaposed with Erik's stinging distortion vocals. Erik's tremolo cowboy guitar in the galloping "Into The Sunset" is a really nice way to close the set.

I found myself admiring the shear amount of work that Erik must have put into the arrangements, with some really interesting explorations, and with a familiar but never predictable presentation. In a time when albums are starting to disappear in favor of one-off hits, I applaud Erik for making this not just a collection of songs, but a well thought out concept album with beautiful, cohesive music and fun artwork. Erik's CD a worthy addition to my collection and a fine example for others to follow. For now, it stays in my player for many more rotations. Well done Erik!

Wonderfully Fun and Inspiring!

This is an awesome album! I really like how it takes the listener on a musical journey. The whole idea of a concept album seems to be lost these days in favor of singles, singles, singles. To be able to listen through to an entire album of electronic music from start to finish and really go somewhere, instead of rehashing the same old song fifteen different ways, is really refreshing. Good job Hawk!
