An epic, period-style work

This score is lush and feels like the movie scores of days gone by... think back to the Film Noir period and all of that great music. Beautifully done, with a real sense of drama.

excellent...real music.....

Well finally a composer is willing to score a movie, not with just filler of various artists. This is how soundtracks used to sound and maybe they are coming back in style.I realize that many composers have too today make the soundtrack fit the producers liking. What do they know, stick with making movies and let the true composers do what they are meant to do.Not only watch a movie but also feel the scene with classical music in the background. You will see the difference,no hear the difference. And you can use these kind of scores for many diverse movies.Action, thrillers, drama and science fiction as well as comedy.Thank you anne dudley and the others who are willing to take a chance. And you know what is kind of sad for us here in the states. That most of what we are hearing classical score wise are outside the states.Times are changing folks, get on board.

Just bloody Good!!!

This epic soundtrack is of such high quality and the sound of the music is reminiscent of yesteryear. You can easily listen to the music and dream. All the tracks which carice van houten sing are all good, if not excellent, but maybe that's because I love her and think she is the greatest star ever in the history of holland. I am a bit disappointed that I could not find more info on the original singer which the film was inspired on.
