The best!

Without a doubt, the best Delta blues harp player ever! This album is an absolute must have!

The Essential Sonny Boy Williamson ll

Although Muddy and the Wolf have been my favorite blues singers, Sonny Boy ll
has moved amongst them for this bloozehound. There's not a weak piece in this
compilation---his singing and harp playing are---whew!!!-sometimes I got goosebumps
listening to it, the feelings come through so strong. The backing band lays down a wicked
backbeat on practically every track, too. An A+ compilation of SBW ll's finest stuff.
