11 Songs, 36 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

The debut album by Creeper scales all the joyful, maddening vicissitudes of youth. One minute they’re hurtling along at 100 miles per hour, as on “Poison Pens” and “Black Rain”, the next, they’re plying tender country laments over cheating exes (“Crickets”), and glamorous piano ballads about the necessity of survival (“I Choose To Live”). They touch on every nuance in between, too: “Suzanne” is operatic, “Down Below” triumphant, and “Hiding With Boys” is a perfectly puppyish pop-punk devotional.

Hype is real

Wow, this album is amazing. This was my most anticipated album of 2017 and it couldn't have lived up any more. Room 309 and Down Below are some of the best songs that Creeper has put up so far. Can't wait to see them on Warped.

So good NO, GREAT!

My Chemical Romance, a little bit of The Offspring, the theatrics of Meatloaf, a dash of The Darkness.... It's hard to categorize this group but they're awesome and that's all that should matter.

Crickets

I like the blend of the male and female voice. The writing is so honest. I love it!
