Josh Kramer is brilliant!

I find that when I listen to Josh's music, I can focus. His transitions within each beautifully, masterfully written pieces combine all types of music I find pleasant. My favorite track on the album is Redemption. It connects to my soul and allows me to reminisce on good memories. I do, however, enjoy Beginnings and Ambivalent Road. Josh will undoubtedly make it to the top and for that, I give Josh Kramer two thumbs way up! I can't wait for your next album.

Brilliant work!

My friend introduced me to you on Facebook, and I am so happy she did! This album is so incredible. I absolutely love movie scores and instrumentals, and you really nailed it with "Beginnings." The music is so well done and I was put in a very good mood when I first listened to it. Also, I'm huge fans of most of the composers written under your influences, like Thomas Newman, Alexandre Desplat (who I actually met last year at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival), Henry Gregson Williams, and James Newton Howard. And I have to say, your music definitely mixes them all together. Amazing work!

Excellent debut

Josh Kramer's cd is a wonderful blend of musical styles, and is an homage to some of today's best score composers. To me, Josh has an integrative style that is reminiscent of Thomas Newman, Adam Fields, Peter Nashel, and others. His songs touch on various emotional experiences, including ambivalence, nostalgia, wistfulness, sadness, hope. While "Soar", "Shadows and Light" and "Ambivalent Road" were my favorites upon first listen, over time, each song grows on me. "Ever After" is one that snuck up on me after a few weeks of familiarizing myself with the album. Together, the songs create a palette that has a variety of colors that are beautiful together but also have the ability to stand out on their own. I can hardly wait for Josh's next creation.
