Nice Treat

This is one of the best iTunes Originals I've purchased, Rob gives excellent commentary and really lets listeners inside his life and journey as a musical artist. His growth and musical maturity is all captured in this album which is a must for all fans. The alternate versions of some songs are brilliant as well, especially "This Is How a Heart Breaks" which is basically turned into a completely new song that is just as pure as the original. This is simply a great treat for fans and a great way to be introduced to both Matchbox Twenty and Rob Thomas' music for newcomers.

Excellent Acoustic Versions!

As a longtime matchbox twenty fan, I was thrilled when Rob Thomas' solo album was a success. This new iTunes album features new versions of some of his biggest hits. Not to be missed: the new cover of Smashing Pumpkins' "1979", and an acoustic "Ever The Same."

Rob Thomas is the man but being a HUGE fan of Matchbox 20 im going to have to advise you to consider buying their songs as opposed to Rob's. Matchbox 20 has many of the same songs as Rob does solo but they do a much better job of collaborating musical ability. Before you buy songs from this album, you HAVE to check out Matchbox 20
