Love the new EP! Especially ATM. This band has really evolved.

loving the new sound

CBOF are definitely heading in the right direction. The four new songs are fabulous and I do think they are going to acquire more fans with this EP. These girls are so talented and I'd love to see them in concert one day. They're original, energetic, and not to mention adorable! Keep it up ladies!!! Excellent job :)

Obsessed with this already

No one is as good at putting out catchy punk music that balances a strong feminist perspective with accomplished musicality and lyricism as CBOF. I admire the titles of both cds but really like the new one because it subverts the idea that grrrls and women should be well behaved and quiet and not act up. Which is just wrong. In American culture when female performers allow themselves to be exploited as man eaters, bimbos or princesses, it sends a dangerous message to the entire society. CBOF stands out as a powerful antidote to that kind of thinking.

I discovered CBOF in my Women's Studies class when we watched the Barbie Eat a Sandwich video. I also discovered that 53% of 13 year old girls hate their bodies, 78% of 18 year olds hate their bodies. That is scary. It makes me sick. I'm glad to have the new cd because listening to their music gives me hope when I start to feel depressed and angry about how screwed up the world is.

Brooklyn natives Sophie, Lucio, and Isadora ("Izzy") took their cues from the old-school punk tradition, shunning their forenames and playing a series of shows in the Park Slope area. The trio also issued an introductory EP, Confuse Me, in 2006,...
