What a Find!

I heard a very catchy, toe-tapping tune coming over the speakers at a crowded restaurant. I couldn't hear it clearly enough above the background noise to make out any words, but the tune was unforgetable. And then I remembered that I could use my iPhone to identify the song, which lead me to Wasis Diop and this album. I had never heard of this group, but I am delighted to have discovered it. No two songs are alike and the music defies classification. The rhythms are complex and addictive. Overall, you will find this album intoxicating! You will want to play it over and over again!

Wasis is simply awesome!!
