Won't disappoint

I've never pre-ordered anything in my life until this. I'm blown away by the songwriting genius of Absent Sounds, Able Bodies and The Man with Wooden legs, I cant wait for this. Best new music I've heard in 25 years (yes, I'm an old guy, but these guys are phenomenal).

HOLY CRAP!

I love these guys! Earlier when I saw they had a new album for preorder I was so exited I actually screamed like a teenage girl. Although I'm a 17 year old guy... Anyway, after their single "Monster" was released a month ago, I fell in love with the new sound they brought to the table! And after hearing the sample song "Blank Tapes" I know I won't be disappointed! (Not that I ever am). Joey and the guys continue to produce beautiful music with exceptional sound quality! Bravo gentleman!

On a side note, they're touring and coming to Dallas on October 22 and I absolutely can't wait! I simply can't express how much I love these guys and their music!

Review of From Indian Lakes by Mark

I saw From Indian Lakes in Detroit this last Saturday. They are a very talented group. I like the style of music and makes me day dream. Much like my love for Circa Survive this band just doesnt sound like everything else out there. They do their own thing and lyrics/music are of the highest quality. I dont think I have anticipated seeing a band live as much as I did them. I wasnt let down in the slightest. Heard some of their new music as well as some of my favorite music from their old albums. They sound completely organic and exactly as you would want a band to sound live. Inspiring, blissful and pure. A sense of Nirvana - the feeling not the band comes from their style of music. Helps with anxiety and brings peaceful thoughts. It also is deep thinking music which brings up emotional thoughts about ones past. Just a beautiful combination. I never thought I would like a band as much as I like Circa Survive but I think Indian Lakes might be my new favorite band to listen to on tough days. I enjoy seeing them now while the events arent packed because much like Circa, once they blow up in the public you wont be able to get close to the stage or meet the band afterwards. I met the singer Joey and got a picture to remember the occasion. Very nice genuine people. The element that has been missing from modern day music are real people like the band "From Indian Lakes" -Mark

Biography

Genre: Alternative

Years Active: '00s, '10s

From Indian Lakes began as the solo project of California-based singer/songwriter Joey Vannucchi. Growing up on 40 acres of land near Yosemite National Park, the multi-instrumentalist first gravitated toward drums, playing in various bands throughout his youth before eventually focusing on guitar and songwriting. Intricate rhythms continued to be a major feature of his thoughtful post-rock sound and at age 20, he began recording songs at a friend's studio in the neighboring town of Indian Lakes....
