4.5 master of infectious hooks

jim peterik is america’s most overlooked songwriter; the master of infectious hooks; his music, frequently likened to of journey’s or foreigner; truly has a unique flavor of its own. It is neither melancholic, nor sentimental. and here, peterik+jamison shine. this music is proof that the record company should have released the “extra” moments instead of the 2008 original. Add a few tracks from the 2008 moments (that’s why i sing, crossroad moment, etc.) and jamison's 2012 solo album (not tonight and street survivor)—and the combination would rank between survivor favorites vital signs (1984) and “premonition (1981)” in awesomeness. now, of course with iTunes, one can fashion their own ultimate Survivor comeback album. Mine is spinning on the cd player like it's 1984. Hooks, bridges, and rock’n’roll goosebumps! (i wish mr. sullivan could swallow his pride and join you two for an ultimate re-union).
