Brilliant Album

Blindside brings all they have to this Cd. Their passion is amazing and sustains you from the opener which have you singing (or screaming if you like me) "Good-bye." Anyway as usual Blindside changes there style just a little bit more. And this Cd really has so much to offer in it's diversity. Softer slower songs, hard heavy hitting songs, and so much excitement that you cannot help but fall in love with the cd. Just give a single listen and make your decision. Strongest song (and also possibly the one that would resinate more with older fans) "About a burning fire." This songs lifts me up and takes me to another world in which I desire with all my heart to dwell.

I Thought About Love

That's the cry heard on the title track to this incredible album. There's no way to really describe how good or great this collection of hard alternative/screamo songs from the Swedish band Blindside. Words wouldn't do it justice. Just like their previous album, Silence, About A Burning Fire is an album that must be experienced, and an experience it is. Eye of The Storm rockets off from the get-go with driving guitars and popping drums. You'll rock your socks off until it slows on All Of Us, but only momentarily. Billy Corgan's effort on Hooray, It's L.A. doesn't make the song any better than it ordinarily would be, but I suppose it looks good on paper to have his name there. After You're Gone and Where the Sun Never Dies continues with passionate outcries of desire for Love and the hope of a heavenly home. Roads is reminicent of Silence in its acoustic rock, slowing the pace of the album down before one last pivotal and awesome explosion of guts-to-the-wall passion on the title track. Don't take my word for it, just grab this whole album and let it set your heart on fire.

I used to think "rock" meant electric guitars!!

Now, I realize that Not many bands Rock as hard as Blindside. Not so much "hard" as .... well,... Freakin Awesome!!! Every Song Explores what music can really do. ... that sounds kinda uh... well, worshipful, maybe, but i really think this Might be the Best band .... and it scares me to say it... ever.
