i was expecting something quite different from what this album turned out to be. it is NOT a jimmy page/john paul jones album. it is a bunch of recordings from sessions intended to launch the career of a vocalist named keith degroot, now lost to history, in 1968; jimmy and jp just happened to be the session players on this project. they are treated as backing musicians, and that is how this album sounds--unremarkable british r&b. as a lifelong zeppelin fan, i would still have wanted to hear this album; it is just a drag that it was presented as something it isn't. (i had to do some research to find any explanation at all for what this album was actually all about.)
