iTunes Review

Crooning with tender emotion, Dylan floats through the Sinatra songbook on this gently swinging companion to 2015’s Shadows in the Night. Like its predecessor, Fallen Angels is filled with rootsy renditions of standards (“Skylark,” "Come Rain or Come Shine") and some obscure gems (Peter DeRose and Billy Hill’s “On a Little Street in Singapore”). But even when Dylan glides through something as familiar as “That Old Black Magic,” the intimate setting and his effortless delivery make it a refreshing delight.

.....sad is what comes to mind

As a long time Dylan fan I sure miss the Bob Dylan I grew up listening too! If it's a choice between this or putting on some of my older albums, I'll go with the older! To me, I'm sorry but this just stinks, and any true Dylan fan would admit it! Sorry Bob, as much as I respect you I can't get in to this. Maybe it's time to forget the releases like this and start releasing deluxe issues of some great stuff like Blood on the Tracks, stuff you did with the Band, and maybe that way we can all stay and remember what it was like to be and feel "Forever Young".
Take care brother, and God bless,
Much peace and love to you!
Thanks for all the great years of music🌅🌴🌺💞✨💫

Well, I guess I'm just living in the past to enjoy listening to Bob's classics. Not these remakes of sentimental standards. I'll simply put Highway 61 or Blond on Blond or Blood on the Tracts on and enjoy. God Bless Bob Dylan.

This Angel a-Bounced

Love the voice, and wishing/hoping he makes another album of originals applying this voice to it. While Tempest was great in its own right, his voice wasn’t at all as croony as it is in this and the last album (Sinatra covers). Cheers, Bob! Hope to shake your hand one day.

Bob Dylan's influence on popular music is incalculable. As a songwriter, he pioneered several different schools of pop songwriting, from confessional singer/songwriter to winding, hallucinatory, stream-of-consciousness narratives. As a vocalist, he broke down the notion that a singer must have a conventionally good voice in order to perform, thereby redefining the vocalist's role in popular music. As a musician, he sparked several genres of pop music, including electrified folk-rock and country-rock....
