Vinyl Dub of One Hit

Copied from a vinyl album, this CD contains Jane's biggest hit "Fascination". $8.99 is a little steep for a budget CD that has no other hits; the version of "Two Different Worlds" here is an alternate take, not the hit version with Roger Williams. At least the lyrics here are "CLEAN". All those explicit Jane Morgan songs were wearing me down.

A Great Album by a great artist

I have to admit you need to like accordions and violins but this is a wonderful album. And so evocative of the era. Someone needs to give this woman a lifetime achievement award.

Vocalist Jane Morgan is known best for her lone Top Ten hit, "Fascination," drawn from the 1957 Billy Wilder film Love in the Afternoon. Born in Boston (as Jane Currier) but raised in Florida, Morgan was an early success as a singer in France. She made the transition back to America as a nightclub act, and signed to Kapp in the mid-'50s.
