EDITORS’ NOTES

After an explosive debut in 2014, WINNER entered the scene as K-pop's latest sophisticated, sentimental boy band. There's been a few starts and stops leading up to Fate Number For—including the departure of original member Taehyun—but the outfit delivers with this pair of singles. "Fool" focuses on the emotional balladry that made fans initially join the WINNER team, while "Really Really" sees them experimenting with tropical house for a deliciously satisfying summer tune—all marking a refreshing, exciting second chapter for the band.

About WINNER

South Korea's Winner make dance-oriented rap and R&B-influenced pop music. Formed in 2013 after winning the YG Entertainment-produced reality television competition Who Is Next: WIN, the five-member all-male ensemble features the talents of vocalist/dancers Lee Seunghoon, former Superstar K2 competitor Kang Seung-yoon, Song Minho, Kim Jinwoo, and Nam Taehyun. Upon taking first place on Who Is Next: WIN, Winner appeared on their own ten-episode reality program, WINNER TV. In 2014, at the end of WINNER TV's run, Winner released their full-length debut album, 2014 S/S, featuring the singles "Empty" and "Color Ring." It hit number one of the Billboard Top World Albums chart, and was followed by 2016's Exit EP, which nearly repeated the feat, reaching number two. ~ Matt Collar
