Amazing EP

Daughter of the late Chris Whitley and current front-woman for Black Dub, Trixie Whitley is going to be a major contributor to alt.rock. She has a gutsy, multidimensional voice. When she picks up a guitar, she has the uncanny ability to chanel the style of her father whose style, often played through a National Steel Guitar, was unique. It's about time for a full-length debut LP.

Fan.

First her father, and now SHE becomes THIS. That voice, the same purity of intent, the beautiful, clear production. All that heart, all that reach, all that hauntedness without her father's tragedy. The swoop and soar, and the grounding again. What a range, what a voice, what a redemption for all of us that loved her father. She has become something well worth paying attention to. So do.

Beautiful

Love her voice and soulful meaning to her songs! Can't wait to hear more from her.
