Paul Kelly ( Folk )

You can never go wrong with this Great Aussie Icon

Wow, this is excellent!

Great writing, singing and musicianship. Four and a half stars. Surprising return to form for Paul Kelly. Better overall and certainly more even than "Ways and Means" to my ears. Great back up band makes this record much better than I originally anticipated. Standouts for me: Gold Told Me To, Stolen Apples, Keep on Driving. First and last songs are not very accessible IMO but every other song is superb and entirely enjoyable. If you're a fan of "Under the Sun", "Gossip", or "Deeper Water", you'll really get into this one.

You can't go wrong with Kelly!

He is fabulous!
