Album Review

Although it's brief and cheaply produced, Greatest Hits contains many of the essential Ferlin Husky tracks, including "A Dear John Letter," and which isn't on Capitol Collector's Series, "Gone," and "Wings of a Dove." For the budget-conscious it isn't a bad purchase, although Capitol Collector's Series offers a greater selection for an equivalent price.

I think Wings of a dove is a good song and ferlin husky is cool.


One of the best songs in all of country music history. No one sings it better!

Ferlin Husky had three separate careers. Out of the three, the best known is his country-pop career, which brought him to the top of the charts in the late '50s, but he was also known as a honky tonk singer called Terry Preston and a country comic named Simon Crum. Of course, Preston and Crum are just footnotes to Husky's very popular career, even though Crum nearly became a household name as well.
