Album Review

After playing the violin in 2009's Le Concert, French actress Mélanie Laurent, best known for her starring role in Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds, continues to showcase her versatile musical talents with her debut album, En T'Attendant. Compared to music by the likes of Carla Bruni and Charlotte Gainsbourg, its 12 self-penned tracks were produced by Pedestrian's Joel Shearer and Irish singer/songwriter Damien Rice, who also provides vocals on two duets, "Uncomfortable" and "Everything You're Not Supposed to Be." ~ Jon O'Brien, Rovi

This is a very nice album! I really enjoyed the duets with Damien! He compliments her voice very nicely!

fresh music!

I'm loving this album. I purchased this because I really enjoyed the Damien Rice songs. But I can honestly say that Mélanie Laurent is now one of my favorites! Thanks for the great music!

Very pretty album

All the tunes, esepcially En T'attendant ( while waiting for you) are poetic , and in the case of the title song haunting and complex. Definitely worth getting.
