iTunes Editors’ Notes

Don’t get used to the controversy that surrounds Chief Keef, because he answers back on Finally Rich. Keef raps with sees-it, lives-it weight while tossing useless mea culpas overboard ("No Tomorrow," "Kobe," "Love Sosa"). He's already a rap star (and magnet for controversy) in Chicago’s South Side; his statement “I Don’t Like” went national and found its way into Kanye West’s hands (who remixed it with Pusha T and Jadakiss). Finally Rich includes Keef’s original as well as more than a dozen booming chest-crushers (with guest bars from 50 Cent, French Montana, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, and Wiz Khalifa) starring one of the rap game’s youngest and most retweeted personalities.

This has to be the worst cd on earth!!!!!👎👎👎👎👎

I don't understand how anybody can think this wanna be thug is good. chief keef is one of the worst rappers I've ever known of.

Might be good

This album might be pretty good. It seems like it's going to have a consistent sound and idea, (Chief Keef celebrating his independence from the hood/struggle and enjoying his fame). With great features and really fantastic beats provided by Young Chop. If only Keef could play the industry game a little more. He seems to really know his genre and sound. He is not trying to do anything life changing but this sounds entertaining and not thrown together. I actually might buy this album and I am someone who likes people like Curren$y, A$AP Rocky, Kendrick Lamar and Drake who I think are artists with more depth. I think there is a place for Chief Keef and I'm with it.

Rapper Chief Keef was a hit on Chicago's high-school circuit before mixtapes and viral videos led to a contract with Interscope. Keef first hit with 2011's "Bang," an instant hit with the youth of his hometown's South Side. The mixtapes The Glory Road and Bang were both released that year by Keef's label, Glory Boyz, but at the end of 2011, the rapper was arrested for unlawful use of a weapon. In early 2012, Keef was finishing his sentence of house arrest as his track "I Don't Like" was topping a...
