Great compliment to the album. I was on the hunt for this on vinyl, but I'm glad itunes put it on here so I can stop looking..... Nah, I'm still looking for it on vinyl! Anyway, anyone who loved the vocal album like I did should pick up this instrumental album to make it complete. Real Hip Hop, suckas!

The original album is amazing, as well as this instrumental version Kanye West really does an amazing job on the executive production of this album..

Common is saving Hip Hop

Not unlike Stevie in the 70's Common has kept spiritual issues, love and life in general as his main lyrical focus while keeping an eye and heart to the street. This album earned Common his first #1 spot on The Billboard Top 40! It is well worth the purchase.Common is able to walk the line of poetry and pop with respectable grace and dignity. This is classic album without a doubt.A watermark for a generation.A testament to Hip Hop as an art form and a relevant statment. Kanye West as an executive producer only adds to is accesability.Buy It. !

By the late '90s, a substantial underground movement...
