Another fantastic Finzi offering

Bought it for "Et in Terra Pax" but fell in love with "For St. Cecilia". Finzi is a little known gem of English choral work and I am so glad to have discovered him.


I only want to buy In Terra Pax but none of the albums on iTunes will let you buy just that work. You have to buy the entire album with other songs that you don't want. Not worth the money.

Formed in 1893 by Sir Dan Godfrey, the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra (it should be noted that the orchestra was eventually based in Poole, but maintained the original name for tradition's sake) became a world-class and world-traveled orchestra, performing in New York, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Vienna (to name but a few).
