I feel strangly okay with it...

The Firestarter EP doesn't really introduce much "newness" for Jimmy Eat World. The last 2 tracks can be found on Bleed American (now simply titled Jimmy Eat World, out of respect for the events of 09/11), the second track, "(Splash) Turn Twist" is a song that did not make it onto the Bleed American line up and the first track, is a cover of UK techno band Prodigy's "Firestarter". Check out Clarity or Futures if you want to listen to Jimmy Eat World at their best (which is usually always!!!).

Exceeds Jimmy Eat World Standards

One of the more calmer albums but it is perfect. There is some stuff they can work on but no dought a Jimmy Eat world best. The last two songs are long but phenominal. I would suggest this to any jimmy eat world lover. Vocals were very good and the songs drums are aawesome you should really buy this

This Isn't The Jimmy Eat World I Know

Normally, I get psyched up everytime Jimmy Eat World releases material, but "Firestarter" isn't happening for me. I've already have "Hear You Me" and "My Sundown" thanks to their self-titled CD and I'm not into their version of "Firestarter." If it weren't for "(Splash) Turn Twist," it couldn't gotten one star.

The band's influence widened considerably with 1999's Clarity — an album that has since emerged as a landmark of the emo genre — it was the band's follow-up (specifically the infectious single "The Middle") that crowned them as major figures in commercial rock. The emo label proved...
