Funny, Homeboy is infinitely smarter than most rappers, yet could probably knuckle most "gangster" rappers down as well with his boxing background. I download most of my music for free which is commercial, easily accessible, and worth it, but have absolutely no problem shelling put a few duckets for this brother's work. Appreciate real hardcore Hip-Hop Homes, continue on. I've heard a hell of a lot of music in my day, but he always manages to formulate new flows and ideas over very original and thoughtful Hip-Hop tracks that somehow never stray away from a masterful underground street sound and it all sounds pretty effortless. Basically, he's one of the few natural artists/ MCs going. For those who may not be up on his format, "First of a Living: Out Now" is a dope bonus not included here.

One of the best Hip Hop Albums of the Year

Watch out for Homeboy! He is here to stay. Please buy this album and help support he independent label Stones Throw for helping artists grow and experiment rather than squeeze radio hits out of them like some of the big music labels. Cop it! Peace

2nd best album of his.

Homeboy always coming with some melodies!!! His lyrics can be heavy and dense at times and light and funny at times. Full of original thought and style this is another dope project from sandy!! His only better was actual factual pteradactyl . To me anyway.
