A Great Album

Be the first to introduce your friends to Battlehooch. This album is true to the bay area roots of the band, while providing a totally unique experience. I love this album.

Peace, Ciao

Can't stop listening to it. Freaky psychedelic aesthetic with art/prog rock complexity and precision, played with sweetness and ecstatic abandon. The music shape shifts constantly, but at times the sound reminds me of Eno-era Roxy Music, the Mothers, Camper Van, Captain Beefheart, Butthole Surfers, New Pornographers. It gets jaw-droppingly weird, then suddenly sprouts hooks and forces you to dance. Just amazing.

you may need a mind

I stumbled upon this band (literally} in SF and think their sound, and more importantly their personality on stage, are one of the bright spots in the heavens right now. Such a talented group of musicians who also know what it is to have fun on stage and entertain their audience. See them live for sure, to really experience them. Don't love the bands name, but then again, no one asked me. Buy this entire CD for a good time!

Can I say, also, that they are very nice, polite boys! HA...
