Inspirational, Beautiful, and Classic

After about a year and a half hiatus, and a violent continuous struggle with Lyme’s Disease, Avril returns with this inspirational and captivating song in support of the Special Olympics, which only serves as more of a reason to appreciate this gorgeous power ballad. The stripped back production really allows the listener to hear the song for what it really is, Lavigne’s powerful voice is at the forefront throughout the song, while the accompaniment compliments Lavigne very nicely. Though the lyrics may sound a bit clichéd, Avril puts more than enough conviction behind them to tell the listener that she really means its time to fly. A great song, a great way to come back to the music scene, and a great chance to help, support, and encourage all those participating in the special olympics this summer, well done Avril!

As the decade progressed, so...
