iTunes Review

On Flying Colours’ infectious mix of old-school and new-world hip-hop, you can hear Shad negotiating the existential ennui that people all over the world endure. Standout tracks like “Stylin’,” “Fam Jam (Fe Sum Immigrins),” and the Lights-illuminated “Remember to Remember” come packaged in deep but sunny beats, with Shad executing a deft lyrical balancing act between earnestness, humor, and cautious optimism.
